Free Phonics Test
Welcome to the ScholarSkills 5 Minute Phonics Reading Test
Please print these instructions, or leave them open on a device screen so that your child can take the test correctly.
If your child is going to view the test online, then make sure that he or she has access to a phone to record answers.
This test should take no longer than 5 minutes; however, if your child needs more than 5 minutes and the recording time ends, then simply start a new 5 minute recording and continue the test.
Encourage students to try to pronounce each word. However, if the student becomes frustrated at any point or mispronounces 3-5 words in a row, then stop the test and send whatever results were recorded.
